In the IRControl System there is implemented an Interface to the openHAB system, so you can use IRControl as a control console for openHAB. For accessing openHAB System you have to register it as a Device.
With version 10 of Android and later and with the iOS app the Mac address cannot be determined. It does not have to be recorded here. The device is identified via the uuid.
Now you can add you openHAB things as a target.
openHAB Things
openHAB Things are recorded as an target item IRControl linked with the openHAB system (device). With the button «Select Thing» the things configured in openHAB are listed and can be selected for the target.
The commands are automatically generated based on the existing items. A thing can have several items. An item specifies a command set for a device type (e.g. color and dimmer for a Philips Hue light).
The items (or Commands) Color as well as dimmers can not be called up directly by an action in the IRContorl system, could be stored at the in the configuration of the following controls:
Dimmer: Wheel Control, Dimmer Control
Color: WheelControl
